ZEGNA Presents Spring 2026: The Winter Garden

Created by our Founder, Ermenegildo Zegna, Oasi Zegna is a 100 km² natural territory in the Italian Alps – a living landscape of memories where design, nature, and family have always grown together. Here, amid the mountains, the Zegna family built their homes and began their commitment to the arts. Ermenegildo Zegna found daily inspiration in beauty – commissioning artists, designers, and architects as he developed the 232 Road connecting Oasi Zegna to the surrounding communities.

It was within this vision that the Zegna family invited Pietro Porcinai, one of the most influential landscape architects of the 20th Century. Born in 1910 – the same year as ZEGNA – Porcinai dedicated his life to redefining how human spaces coexist with the natural world. 

From this collaboration, the Winter Garden was created, reflecting a shared vision: harmony between glass, light, water, and nature. The Zegna family invited Porcinai to Trivero not only as an architect, but to help shape a philosophy. Welcomed by ZEGNA Founder, Porcinai reimagined gardens as bridges between domestic life and the local landscape around Casa Zegna, Cà Gianin, and Villa Al Roc in Trivero. These spaces were not greenhouses or conservatories, but living rooms immersed in nature, where architecture, plants, and people lived in quiet balance. They existed as spaces for social gatherings, intimate family moments, and even business. 

At a time when industry, art, and landscape design rarely converged, Porcinai’s collaboration with the Zegna family introduced the language of the modern garden into the classical setting of Trivero’s villas and factories, connecting spaces of work and leisure through pergolas, treillages, and ‘green walls’ – welcoming nature inside rather than erasing it. This shared philosophy extended beyond landscape architecture into a broader dialogue between environment, lifestyle, and design. In Porcinai’s gardens, the Zegna family found a physical expression of his aesthetic principles: refinement, harmony, and innovation rooted in nature.  

For Spring 2026, ZEGNA returns to the Winter Garden, with the brand’s Global Ambassador Mads Mikkelsen. The campaign reflects style that feels instinctive rather than imposed. This philosophy finds expression in material and form: extraordinary fabrics move in harmony with Oasi Zegna, blurring the boundary between wild nature and refined design. Vellus Aureum, ZEGNA’s rarest wool fibre and the pinnacle of its textile research, sourced from select growers around the world, is paired with the supple precision of SECONDSKIN leather. Within SECONDSKIN family, iconic Triple Stitch™ shoe appears as functional signatures of the brand, translating ZEGNA’s heritage of performance and craftsmanship into contemporary form.

Silhouettes are relaxed and fluid, responding to the body with understated confidence and evolving with the wearer as naturally as the seasons change. From the thoughtful construction of Il Conte jacket SECONDSKIN to the refined details that shape each piece, every stitch speaks of ease, elegance, and a way of living attuned to the world around it.
