LOEWE Announces Julia Garner as Global Brand Ambassador
LOEWE announces Julia Garner as the first global brand ambassador appointed under the creative direction of Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez.
“It feels deeply personal to become the first global ambassador personally chosen by Jack and Lazaro. There’s something very moving about being seen in that way — about knowing they felt a connection strong enough to invite me into this new chapter of the House,” says actress Julia Garner. That sense of recognition sits at the core of the relationship. Garner has long responded to the designers’ creative vision. “I’ve always admired their creative vision — it’s committed, almost absolute, and certain, similar to the way an actor commits entirely to a role.” She is equally drawn to what she describes as “a kind of radiant, modern femininity that feels both strong and instinctive.” For her, LOEWE represents a space where ideas are allowed to exist fully and evolve with intention. “To be welcomed into that world — and to do so at their request — feels intimate and incredibly meaningful to me.”
An American actress known for her transformative range, Garner has built a body of work defined by intensity and precision. She recently starred opposite Amy Madigan and Josh Brolin in Weapons for New Line and Warner Bros., and appeared in Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps alongside Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. Her portrayal of Ruth Langmore in Netflix’s Ozark earned her a Golden Globe Award and three consecutive Primetime Emmy Awards. She later led Inventing Anna, created by Shonda Rhimes, and delivered a critically acclaimed performance in Kitty Green’s The Assistant. Garner recently completed production on the Netflix limited series The Altruists opposite Anthony Boyle, serving also as Executive Producer under her banner, Alma Margo. She will next star opposite Charlize Theron in Tyrant, written and directed by David Weil for Amazon MGM Studios.
What anchors the partnership is a shared understanding of craft as devotion — to time, to process, to the unseen layers beneath the surface. “What resonates with me most is the House’s devotion to craft — not just technically, but emotionally. There’s care in everything LOEWE does. You can feel the human hand behind it.” For Garner, acting unfolds slowly, built “from the inside out,” requiring trust and openness. “It’s slow, it requires trust, and it asks you to stay open.” She recognises in LOEWE the same patience and discipline — a commitment to curiosity and to the integrity of the process. Just as essential is the freedom embedded within that rigour. “The House celebrates individuality and allows space for exploration. I feel that same permission in my own career — to take risks, to choose complexity, to grow.”
For McCollough and Hernandez, the connection was immediate. “A sense of connection led us to Julia. There was an immediate bond.” They speak of her commitment, her fearlessness in bringing characters to life, and a presence that holds both strength and effortlessness. “We admire those who dare to explore: Julia certainly has that ceaseless curiosity, and we are proud to see her bring this to LOEWE.”
As LOEWE continues to evolve under their direction, the collaboration reflects a shared sensibility — rigorous yet open, instinctive yet deliberate. In Julia Garner, the House recognises an artist whose approach to creation feels aligned with its own: grounded in discipline, guided by curiosity, and always moving forward.
