K-Style Inspo: Team Do-san & Team Ji-pyeong
While we’re always looking out for the female lead in any show or series, we couldn’t help but take extra notice on the two male leads from the recently concluded K-drama hit Start-Up starring Bae Suzy as Seo Dal-mi, Nam Joo‑hyuk as Nam Do‑san, and Kim Seon-ho as Han Ji-pyeong as the three main characters. As their story unfolds in the world of Sandbox (a made up version of Korea’s Silicon Valley), start-ups, technology, and high competition, we also become so invested in each character’s backstory and how they are all intertwined by how their past is affecting their fate in the present.

While the story and pace has got us hooked, it's the love triangle going on between Dal-mi, Do-san, and Ji-pyeong that has people picking and siding with a favorite. Honestly, we couldn’t pick a favorite as both are equally perfect for Dal-mi albeit in different ways. Even with their differences in the style department, we’re both Team Do-san and Team Ji-pyeong.
As Samsan Tech’s main man, Do-san’s style is very similar to his start-up company—basic and comfortable but full of potential. You’ll see him mostly in plaid shirts, jeans, and sneakers while navigating his way up the start-up ladder. Channel his key looks with these cool casual pieces to cop his style:

Ji-pyeong on the other hand is a bit older, mature, and more experienced in life and work as a well-known venture capitalist in the tech world, you may think his style is hard, unapproachable, or intimidating. Though we see him always put together in expensive looking ensembles, his style is always tailored yet hinted with softness as we will discover that side of “Good Boy” as he is often referred to as the series progresses. Decked in cool hues of blue, delicate neutrals like cream and white and light plaid patterns, his clean and soft looks give off a smart, sophisticated vibe:
