Charriol Takes Love By The Heart
Symbolic and universal, the heart is inseparable from Valentine’s Day. With its two halves, it captures the idea of love that wants to see us find our soul mate. Each year, it incarnates and expresses love feelings in one simple heart shape. But love is as unique and complex as love stories and has its own language.
For Valentine’s Day, enter the secrets of lasting love
This year, Charriol fell in love with the gestures and languages of enduring love, which has many facets. There are five main ways to express love emotionally. Each person has a love language you may sense if you want your mate to feel loved: Gift giving is one of them and the most historical and obvious in this Valentine time, but there are other ways to express love to your partner and loved ones: Quality time, Physical touch, Acts of Service or Words of affirmation.
What is your Love Language?
People tend to give love the way they naturally prefer to receive it. But what about their partner and love ones?
Gift giving: A classic expression of love. When you love someone, you gift him or her with something like the trip she secretly dreamed or the latest creation of his favorite designer.
Quality time: Giving your undivided attention to your partner is one of the many ways you can show your love like sharing an intimate dinner or watching a movie together.
Physical touch: Nothing communicates love more clearly than to take the initiative to reach out and touch your loved one whether it’s a kiss, holding hands, or a hug.
Acts of service: For some people, “Actions speak louder than words” and that is particularly true of love like when you are cooking dinner or he is changing that damn light bulb.
Words of affirmation: Spoken praise and appreciation are also words of love for you. Affirmations like “I am proud of you,” “you are my sunshine,” or “love you” mean the world to you.
