Set Your Imagination Free Through The Gucci Podcast
Set your imagination free while at home with the latest episode of the Gucci Podcast, featuring three-Michelin-star chef Massimo Bottura in conversation with his old school friend Gucci President and CEO Marco Bizzarri, about childhood memories and the two Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura restaurants in Florence and in Los Angeles, which were born as a result of their friendship.
Launched in May 2018, the Gucci Podcast channel is recorded to bring the world of Gucci to life through this engaging medium. Since its launch the Gucci Podcast has garnered a steady increase in listeners and expects to grow further in 2020 with an expanded slate of episodes and talents programmed for the year. To date, the Gucci Podcast features 28 episodes of rich storytelling perfect for listening to while at home, which include actor Gugu Mbatha-Raw talking with writer and activist Scarlett Curtis about feminism, cultural and global issues, and the importance of starting new dialogues, to celebrate International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month.
Previous episodes include Alessandro Michele in a conversation on fashion, collecting and music with Sir Elton John; fashion designer Dapper Dan musing on creating one-off outfits for hip-hop stars in the ‘80s and ‘90s, the reopening of his atelier in Harlem and his collaboration with Gucci; and, writer and fashion blogger Susie Lau interviewing the four stars of the Gucci Beauty Network campaign about breaking the rules of beauty norms: models Achok Majak, Mae Lapres and Ellia Sophia, who she meets in Rome, and punk singer Dani Miller (along with musician Jeffertitti), who she speaks to on the eve of Gucci’s Spring Summer 2020 fashion show in Milan.
