Following editions in Shanghai, New York, Dubai, Miami, and Milan, VILLA ZEGNA arrives in Los Angeles with a new chapter inspired by La Villeggiatura, an exquisitely Italian habit shaped around seasonal living, cultivated leisure, and the pleasure of temporarily relocating one’s world elsewhere. Rooted in the Italian tradition of villeggiare — to stay in a villa — La Villeggiatura was never simply about going away. It was about relocating life itself for a season: family, rituals, conversations, habits, and a certain idea of elegance moving together from one place to another. More than a vacation, it was a temporary home.
Opening immediately after the ZEGNA Summer 2027 Fashion Show on the Malibu Pier, VILLA ZEGNA transforms the legendary Chateau Marmont into an invitation-only temporary private club where time slows down, hospitality becomes a language, and life unfolds with effortless intimacy. At the heart of this edition is a distinctly Italian gesture: Tutti a casa mia — “everyone back to my place.” In Italy, it is the spontaneous invitation that extends a summer day no one wants to end. In Los Angeles, ZEGNA reimagines this spirit through a journey that begins at the Malibu Pier, where the ZEGNA Summer 2027 Fashion Show will take place, and continues at VILLA ZEGNA, where guests arrive as if stepping into a private summer residence among friends.
Set between the cinematic atmosphere of Chateau Marmont, VILLA ZEGNA Los Angeles draws inspiration from the way the Zegna family traveled throughout the 1970s — together, everywhere. The mood is relaxed yet refined: somewhere between an Italian summer memory and a Slim Aarons photograph. Striped umbrellas, poolside conversations, vintage newspapers, aperitivo rituals, long lunches, radios playing softly in the background, and days unfolding without urgency become part of a lived experience rather than a staged installation. Throughout the villa, echoes of the 1970s ZEGNA universe quietly emerge — from the relaxed elegance of the brand’s imagery of the era to the spirit of TOP, the cultural magazine published by ZEGNA between 1967 and 1980, revealing a living Italian legacy shaped through culture, style, and hospitality across generations.
Guests enter VILLA ZEGNA as if arriving at a private summer residence from another era. Inside, a sequence of immersive environments unfolds like fragments of a collective family album. A projection room presents archival-inspired films and memories from the 1970s, retracing moments from the ZEGNA universe across fashion, travel, landscape, and leisure. Lounges and bars are shaped through warm earthy tones, tactile materials, soft lighting, and quiet elegance. Around the pool, an Italian edicola reimagines the nostalgic rituals of summer holidays through newspapers, postcards, gelati, candies, and iconic Italian drinks. Inside the villa, characters quietly inhabit the space as if suspended in time: a gardener caring for the plants, a butler welcoming guests with personal letters and room keys, a bartender preparing the family’s favorite cocktails. The line between cinema and reality slowly dissolves, turning the experience into something deeply atmospheric, emotional, and human.
Throughout the week, and exclusively by invitation, selected top customers, friends of the house, international press, and celebrities will step into a world of exclusive experiences, intimate gatherings, and collections available only within the villa, alongside access to made-to-order looks from the ZEGNA Summer 2027 Fashion Show presented on the Malibu Pier.
Like every edition of VILLA ZEGNA, Los Angeles becomes more than a destination. It becomes a temporary extension of the ZEGNA world — a place where culture, hospitality, style, and human connection exist naturally together.
