Tommy Hilfiger Announces Fall 2019 TommyXZendaya Collaborative Capsule Collection

Tommy Hilfiger announces the Fall 2019 TommyXZendaya capsule collection created by American designer Tommy Hilfiger in collaboration with actress and global TOMMY HILFIGER brand ambassador, Zendaya, and image architect, Law Roach. Following the first successful Spring 2019 TommyXZendaya collaborative capsule, Zendaya will again appear in the global multimedia campaign for the collection, both of which will be released worldwide in Fall 2019.

“As two determined optimists, Zendaya and I wanted to find new ways to celebrate and champion female empowerment through fashion,” said Tommy Hilfiger. “The Fall 2019 TommyXZendaya collection challenges and redefines power dressing. The concept has today evolved into a state of mind rather than just being about clothes. This second collaboration is about encouraging everyone to embrace their uniqueness and celebrate their individuality in their own terms.”

The integrated Fall 2019 TommyXZendaya campaign was shot through the distinct lens of Steven Klein, who captured a group of confident women, including Zendaya, against a corporate and structured cityscape backdrop. The cinematic-inspired campaign features exclusive video, print, online, and out-of-home media placements. These will be supported by unique consumer activations that continue to bring the brand’s perspective on pop culture to life around the world.

The Fall 2019 TommyXZendaya collection is a celebration of iconic ‘70s power dressing fused with the classic American cool heritage of the TOMMY HILFIGER brand. The monochrome color palette blends with rich burgundy and metallics, while a fusion of prints and polka dots bring an unexpected twist to structured silhouettes and scarf dressing. Creamy leathers, faux furs and rich velvets enhanced by silver metal detailing add a luxe touch. Houndstooth sartorial tailoring elevate the timeless trench coat, narrow-waist blazer and wide-legged pants. Constellation graphics as well as snow leopard-look and snake-look prints add a playful edge to maxi skirts and wrap dresses. From apparel and accessories to swimwear and underwear, the Fall 2019 TommyXZendaya collection is strong and confident, reimagining era-defining styles with a bold edge.

The brand heritage of TOMMY HILFIGER is closely linked to collaborating with pop culture icons from the worlds of fashion, music, art and entertainment.
