Women's Pre-Spring 2025 Collection
For the Pre-Spring 2025, Tod’s creative director Matteo Tamburini continues his exploration of the Italian lifestyle with a collection focused on subtraction rather than addition, highlighting the quality of materials and craftsmanship. This process leads to the creation of a contemporary wardrobe, centered on the codes of formal style where modernity and tradition blend naturally, creating an essential and timeless collection of garments and accessories to be worn and lived in.
Materials are the focus of the collection, appealing to both the eyes and the touch. Leather, the signature for Tod’s, becomes fabric. The most delicate nappa leather designs essential silhouettes, and suede feels like cashmere: the wool gabardine trench with leather details, the oversized coat in bonded canvas with thermo-sealing, and the Over Shirt in soft Pashmy suede showcasing a research project on the finest materials and the most sophisticated techniques from Italian artisanal tradition and experience.
The color palette features earthy tones. Warm and natural hues range from burnt to ivory. Accents of vibrant shades, including red and sunny yellow, appear on the accessories, which remain the protagonists of the wardrobe.
The iconic Tod's bags are enriched with new interpretations. The Di Bag Folio, with stitching that simulates chromatic lines, while the Di Bag Swing gains new dimensions while maintaining its proportions. For the T Timeless, leather becomes a canvas, decorated with symmetrical perforations, giving a light and summery touch, even in the total black version.
For footwear, the Gommino remains the absolute protagonist, even in its ostrich leather version, enhanced with a thin metal buckle, or as a mule for a relaxed feeling. Inspired by menswear, the collection includes flat sandals with a band or with a double buckle, The high heel sandal wrapped in soft nubuck is feminine and sophisticated.
