Tod's Fall Winter 2022 Reimagines Italian Beauty In Seoul

Tod’s celebrates the Fall-Winter 2022/23 collection with a special event in Korea, together with Tod’s Creative Director Walter Chiapponi. 

Tod's 2022 Fall/Winter collection, reimagines icons of Italian beauty, transforming them into modern, versatile objects for everyday use, characterized by a refined and unique sense of quality. Italian heritage reverberates in this collection’s aesthetic research, examining Italy’s culture, and highlighting tradition that has always been rooted in the mission of Tod’s. Masculinity and femininity converge in a unisex wardrobe but only conceptually, attentive to the lines of the body and the dialogue between genders. Knitwear looks voluminous and heavy to the eye yet soft and sensual to touch, and it combines fabric and leather for a distinctly bohemian effect. The purity of uniform-like lines and the luxury of Italian tailoring come together with a boyish attitude in a contemporary streetwear spirit. Tod’s most iconic Di Bag in natural leather, which has now been deconstructed and transformed into a multifunctional handbag expertly crafted from soft, sensual leathers, will be presented in various colors and sizes with a special display, exclusively at the Tod’s Seoul event. 

The event will showcase a display in collaboration with Korean artist Hyun-Min Wang. Based on HyunMin Wang's craftsmanship, the furniture and installation works are handcrafted one by one, focusing on the material of wood, featuring flexible lines and sides, and representing the concept of purity of communication and interchange. Tod's and Hyun-Min Wang’s collaboration is based on the shared values of pursuing the aesthetics of Italy and Korea and the DNA of craftsmanship. Through this unique display, the artist's lifelike and vibrant artwork will convey a special touch to Tod’s collection.
