Tod’s Celebrates Aria D'Italia And The New Boutique In Ginza, Tokyo

After the launch in Milan, during the September fashion week, the book Aria d'Italia arrives in Japan with an exclusive event at the Italian embassy in Tokyo.

Through eight chapters, each of them focusing on a keyword that represents the Italian lifestyle and Tod’s values, Aria d'Italia is a photograph of the Italian spirit, a combination of beauty, elegance and tradition, told through the personal and professional stories of young cosmopolitans, talents from all over the world who find inspiration in Italy, who empathize with its values and who have chosen Italy as a place to move and live. 

Aria d'Italia was first unveiled digitally with a series of short videos and the images subsequently came to life in a book, presented in Milan last September, now followed by events around the world, including New York and Tokyo. 

The event at the Italian Embassy in Tokyo has been hosted by Diego Della Valle, President of Tod’s Group, and H.E. Gianluigi Benedetti, Ambassador of Italy to Japan and followed by a private dinner. 

To celebrate the project, a special Aria d'Italia exhibition took place in the new Tod’s boutique in Ginza, in Namiki-dori, a historic street in the district of Ginza, the most renowned area in Tokyo for luxury brands and shopping. Tod’s Ginza is a three-floors boutique and offers its visitors the whole Brand universe. The front has an impressive window on two levels with elegant glass doors that invite guests to discover the new store. The three floors of the store welcome Women’s and Men’s collections, together with a corner dedicated to Custom Made. With a Sicilian grey marble floor and chromed finish panels, the boutique respects the brand’s DNA and at the same time reflects the city’s own culture and identity.

An Artisan from the Marche, region of Italy where Tod's Headquarter is located, visited Japan for both events in Tokyo to demonstrate the traditional craftsmanship. Among the guests, personalities from the world of cinema like Nana Eikura, the Brand Ambassador, Keita Machida and Nanase Nishino, from fashion field like Yuri Ebihara and model and TikToker Shuzo Ohira, and from the world of music, like Ilmari.
