Furla Celebrates Unica Furla Earth Limited Edition At Triennale Milano

Furla today celebrated the launch of the new Unica Furla Earth Limited Edition - the first Made in Italy bag in biodegradable leather realized in collaboration with Cyclica. The presentation took place at one of the world’s leading cultural institutions of contemporary art, architecture, and design - Triennale Milano – with a special installation featuring the DJ Federica Messaggeri.

Furla unveiled Irina Shayk, who attended the event, as the new project’s interpreter. The famous top model and muse of creatives with a unique style and beauty is the face of this one-of-a-kind design object and the protagonist of a storytelling of images and video lensed by photographer Koto Bolofo.

The bag finds inspiration in historical women in cinema, cult movies, and tv series from the end of the millennium. Unica Furla Earth Limited Edition clears the unnecessary, by honoring what is essential as a diversifying element of that decade, as well as, experimenting with sustainable production processes, and applying new leather manufacturing techniques.   

Guest in attendance for the events, along with Irina Shayk, included: Italian musicians Levante and Beatrice Quinta, talents and content creators Sarah Lysander, Doina Ciobanu, Chloe Lecareaux, Marta Losito, Gioli & Assia, Greta Futura, Korlan Madi, Gala Martinez, Mr. Bags and Amy & Aya.

Unica Furla Earth Limited Edition is now available globally on Furla.com and in selected flagship stores.
