Burberry Makes A Splash at The Standard, Bangkok

Burberry lands in the city for its latest hotel takeover, turning The Standard, Bangkok into a British oasis for the summer. Bringing Burberry to the bustling heart of the Thai capital, The Standard is set inside the Mahanakhon building – one of the city’s tallest and most recognisable landmarks. To transform the urban retreat for the summer, Burberry has reimagined the signature House Check in a custom yellow, which appears throughout the hotel from poolside cabanas and loungers on the roof to the photo booth in The Parlor downstairs.
Rooted in a heritage of exploration and a long-standing affinity with the outdoors, Burberry also draws on Bangkok’s official colour, green, for the takeover logo. Representing the vitality of the city, the hue is woven throughout custom brand experiences, which include a programme of wellness-led moments.
Guests can relax by the pool while enjoying a curated Burberry menu and a selection of ice lollies served from a bespoke cart – perfect for sun-soaked afternoons set against the backdrop of the city skyline. Combining British heritage with Bangkok’s electric spirit, Burberry at The Standard, Bangkok captures the energy of summer in the city and will launch with a party featuring a performance by a local artist, with friends of the brand invited to explore the city on Burberry Check tuk-tuks. Burberry High Summer and Summer 2026 collections will be available for purchase from the hotel’s boutique.
