Michael Kors Celebrates The Return Of Everest With New Influencer-Led Activation
To celebrate the return of the Everest watch, Michael Kors is excited to partner with six global tastemakers for a new social-first activation highlighting the iconic timepiece.
Using the hashtag #MKEverest, the influencers (four individuals and one couple) captured themselves wearing the Everest watch and head-to-toe MICHAEL Michael Kors Fall 2021 ready-to-wear in various locales around the world. Whether it’s exploring the streets of Shanghai like Mia Kong, sailing on a yacht in Capri like Ola Farahat or relaxing in their own backyard like Elsa Hosk, the striking images showcase how each of the influencers are putting their own spin on the Everest watch as they get out and explore the world again.
The main attraction of the initiative is the laid-back yet luxe Everest watch. Originally introduced 10 years ago, this timepiece became an instant must-have thanks to its boyfriend-style silhouette and distinctive glamour. Now, it’s been brought back in a collection of five styles: three exact recreations of the original, and two updated takes. As was true when it was first introduced, the Everest is, above all, a reflection of the modern woman’s attitude of optimism, empowerment and hope.
