Lacoste x Roland-Garros 2019 “On Court & Off Court" Collection & Tennis Remix Collection
One year after the announcement of the new partnership between Roland-Garros and Lacoste, the crocodile and the tournament logo will now be present on the lifestyle and performance collections until 2025.
As the French Open's exclusive new textile partner, Lacoste is pleased to unveil its co-branded Roland-Garros collection to celebrate the 2019 tournament. The Roland-Garros audience may exude casual chic but it's all about performance on the court. This is the first time that Lacoste has ever unveiled a performance and lifestyle collection featuring the crocodile and tournament co-branding.
Off the court, the Roland-Garros collection brings tennis style up to date with a more urban everyday feel. Timeless stripes, deconstructed court lines and tennis ball prints join forces with strong signatures and pop colour blocks to imbue the collection with sports chic.
In addition to the Roland-Garros performance and lifestyle collections, Lacoste presents a unique collection that anchors with modernity the tennis style in a more urban everyday life. The timeless character of a stripe, the unstructured lines of a tennis court or the printed tennis balls combine with strong markings and pop colors to inspire a chic sport spirit to the collection.
TENNIS REMIX COLLECTION
This year, Lacoste presents Tennis Remix, a unique collection to celebrate the 2019 Edition of Roland-Garros.
This collection mixes pieces from the performance collection with lifestyle pieces for a silhouette inspired by tennis in urban and contemporary style. With this collection, Lacoste goes from a tennistic look to a pop culture look and plays with the codes of the tennis courts and those of the fashion. The collection will be available for sale from May 22nd in retail.
PERFORMANCE COLLECTION - ON COURT
Novak Djokovic Collection
Novak Djokovic will wear two statement outfits in athletic colours - bright orange, black and white - to play on the Parisian clay court. A movement and speed-inspired engineered print with shattered lines adds depth to the stretchy technical polo shirt that comes in white paired with shorts with a contrast trim in black stretch taffeta or orange on white shorts. A stretchy technical jacket and cap add the finishing touch. Two co-branded polo shirts are available for men and boys.
Lacoste has also designed 6 other functional yet stylish models which bring technique and trend together. White, navy and bright orange dominate. The new co-branded collection for court regulars is designed with attention-to-detail and select fabrics to provide the ultimate in comfort during play. It includes a two-tone featherweight jacket, a t-shirt with a deconstructed tennis court print and another with a multi-coloured tennis ball print, a plain stretch technical mid-layer jacket and an ultra-dry piqué polo shirt whose double contrast trim matches the colour on the sleeves and inner button tab. The last three models will be worn by players under contract with the brand.

LIFESTYLE COLLECTION - OFF COURT
Lacoste has been the Grand Slam's long-standing partner since 1971 and will unveil its co-branded Roland-Garros lifestyle collection to celebrate the 2019 French Open. An exclusive collection for men, women and children paying tribute to the history of the perfect match: French chic and sport.
Lacoste has taken inspiration from its tennis heritage and put a modern spin on tennis style for more urban everyday wear. The collection's design adds a sports chic twist to the polo shirts, t-shirts, sweatshirts, dresses, caps, sneakers and leather goods in the new range.
A classic, eye-catching and timeless look in a variety of the brand's signature colours - red, navy, white and green - enhanced by grey marl and light blue.
Flat tints of colour call the shots! They play as a trio to graphically adorn a polo shirt, LACOSTE-branded men's sweatshirt, polo dress, boatneck top and feminine short-sleeve sweatshirt whilst stylised tennis balls pop up on a polo shirt, women's sweatshirt and men's t-shirt. Budding champs haven't been left out! Some pieces from the adult collection are available for children.
To keep everything close to hand for the fortnight-long event, the co-branded leather goods range has two reversible totes and two matching purses: one in navy and white stripes and the other in a navy and orange all-over tennis ball print.
The Masters is a unisex sneaker model whose honest elegance is irresistible. The sneakers in white grained leather and brick suede in a nod to the Parisian clay courts encapsulate the tournament's chic sportwear spirit in their minimalist design and trendy sport style. This model will be worn by the umpire team at 2019's Roland-Garros. The co-branded collections will be available to buy from May 22nd in LACOSTE retail stores.
