Inspired by the famous Kimo sandal created by Salvatore Ferragamo in 1951—upper in woven leather with interchangeable sock in leather or silk—Ferragamo Cage Bag has an extremely lightweight cage construction: an example of architecture applied to leather goods that requires numerous steps in its production.
Its distinctive feature is that it is two bags in one: the inside drawstring bag can be taken right out and, interchangeable, it comes in leather, in the same or a contrasting colour, in natural fabric or in silk with a scarf print from the archives, reworked for SS22.
