Tommy Hilfiger Celebrates Opening Of First Tommy Jeans Store In Manila At Club XX XX

Tommy Hilfiger, which is owned by PVH Corp. [NYSE: PVH], marked the opening of the first TOMMY JEANS store in Manila with an underground 90’s inspired party hosted at underground club XX XX on September 18, 2019. Press, VIPs and influencers enjoyed a set by DJ Bea Alonso Te .a.k.a. “Butta B” that celebrated the brand’s music heritage and history of collaborating with pop culture pioneers.

The new TOMMY JEANS store, located in the popular Robinson’s Place Mall in Malate, Manila, opened on September 14, 2019. Spanning over 80 square meters, the store design reflects the new TOMMY JEANS global retail concept, with the interior fusing the label’s youthful spirit with clean, cool detailing and a bright aesthetic. Furnishings are rendered in oak wood and recycled jean materials, with canvas prints adding an irreverent twist. TOMMY HILFIGER’s Americana heritage is celebrated with red, white and blue striped detailing throughout, while concrete flooring and breeze block walls give the store a modern, industrial ambiance. The store is operated by Stores Specialists, Inc., licensee of the TOMMY HILFIGER brand in the Philippines.

The store showcases the Fall 2019 TOMMY JEANS collection, which is inspired by a conscious clash of function and heritage, celebrating denim classics with an irreverent twist. The latest fashion collection reimagines timeless styles with more sustainable fabrics, including 100% recycled cotton tapered jeans and skirts, and denim carpenter jackets in different shades of black made with unused deadstock fabric and trims. Patches, buttons and rivets from deadstock infuse each garment with a unique touch. Corduroy adds a rebellious edge to trucker jackets, puffers, and elevates vintage-inspired pants and dungarees in a rich jewel-tone color palette. The iconic TOMMY JEANS flag is celebrated across the collection, while stars and stripes prints add a youthful look to laid-back styles. A collection that will resonate with fans who love premium and unique denim designs.
