The Kurt Geiger London Spring Summer Collection For 2019
The Spring Summer 2019 collection of footwear and accessories for Kurt Geiger London is focused around embracing your characterful style; full of colour, texture and wonder. Featuring striking new silhouettes and reworked classics, it takes inspiration from four key moods - modern utilitarianism, Las Vegas boudoir and the glamour of early Hollywood, the opulence of La Dolce Vita and urban beachwear.
Pantone’s colour of the year, Living Coral is key across both footwear and handbags. In addition, we’ll see a multitude of bright pops of colour including neon kumquat, gumball pink, neon orange, aqua blue and limoncello, accented with sparkling glitter metallics and transparent acrylics.
SHOES
For trainers, Lane remains a key look and comes back with Lane Love and Lane Rainbow Stripe, while Iris remakes the classic trainer in pink glitters for 2019.
Elegance and femininity are championed in the darling silhouette of the Battersea sling back, with a 60mm signature heel and in the colours: lime, camel, and black. The failsafe desk-to-drinks Burlington is shown in a series of new colours including bone, black and lime leather.
For nights out we see the reimagined Bond in a 60mm heel in the colours: black and camel; and Britton, in the colours: black, nude, and multi-coloured stripes, with a new heel height of 90mm.
For high summer, muted tones of beige, caramel and oyster shell are key. Natural materials including raffia and leather are featured heavily across the collection. The favourite 2018 Odina sandal has been updated in new colours and leathers including gumball pink and silver, making it this year’s summer essential.
BAGS
Where bags are concerned, the best-selling Kensington collection expands by over 50 styles. From the classic and mini, to even a belt bag. Key trends include Colour Crush; featuring candy brights in pink and Crystal Shine, where diamante studs are cushioned in quilted leather. Furthermore, the addition of a new removable acrylic chain handle, as well as scarf details, which can be tied in multiple ways, allows our shopper to explore their unique style.
