Global jewelry brand Swarovski hosted its annual regional “Brilliance for All” gala at The St. Regis Hotel in Kuala Lumpur last July 6, 2018. The star-studded event welcomed nearly 200 guests to the capital city to showcase Swarovski’s passion for creating contemporary designs that fulfill their 123-year commitment to quality craftsmanship and inspiring a sparkling brilliance in every woman’s life.

Welcoming Creative Director Nathalie Colin on her first official appearance in Malaysia, this year’s “Brilliance for All” event struck a dazzling chord with Swarovski’s lasting heritage and its ever-evolving creativity, unveiling the Fall-Winter 2018 “Crystal Tales” Collection, a collection that invites every woman on a journey to a new level of fantasy with its of-the-moment silhouettes and dialed-up vision of femininity.

For the first time in Asia, the new collection was revealed alongside selections from Swarovski Fall-Winter 2018 Couture Collection and Atelier Swarovski Fall-Winter 2018 Collection, which highlighted the brand’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of creativity by collaborating with the finest talents across fashion, jewelry, architecture and design.

Swarovski’s distinctive sparkles took center stage at this year’s “Brilliance for All” Gala, with a new story that invites women to explore and celebrate their many brilliant facets – empowering women with an enchanting crystal tale of talent, heritage and craftsmanship. Inside The St. Regis Hotel, the Grand Ballroom was transformed into an autumnal daydream of fall flowers and filled with Swarovski’s latest crystal jewelry, which could be found glistening across every table.

The “Brilliance for All” theme also inspired the Kaleidoscope Photo Booth, where celebs gathered for star-studded selfies prior to touring the displays of Swarovski Couture Collection, the latest dazzling works from Swarovski “Crystal Tales” Collection and Atelier Swarovski Collection. From the ambience to the jewels on show, it was truly a brilliant occasion for all.

Inspired by Daniel Swarovski’s inimitable spirit, the gala also featured a specially choreographed contemporary dance performance, fused with digital art on the 270-degree state-of-the-art LED screen that surrounded the Grand Ballroom. Afterwards, guests were surprised by the stunning performances from Malaysian singing sensation, Yuna, and DJ Curley; the lively event marked the company’s first-ever event of such scale in Southeast Asia.

Of the gala’s many beaming moments, the most shimmering was the “Swarovski Brilliant 8: A Tribute to Women Who Sparkle,” which celebrates the brilliant moments of multifaceted women throughout Southeast Asia. This dazzling group of eight women represents the sparkling spirit of the brand by embodying female empowerment and shine extraordinarily within their individual facets throughout the world.

The Swarovski Brilliant 8 include: Neelofa, Malaysian actress, entrepreneur, “Forbes 30 Under 30” and Friend of Swarovski; Venice Min, Malaysian car racer under 30 and Friend of Swarovski; Nittha Jirayungyurn, leading Thai actress who won Best Actress” at the 26th Suphannahong National Films Awards in 2017 for her role in the film One Day and Friend of Swarovski; Melissa Koh, influencer extraordinaire from Singapore and fashion entrepreneur with her own brand RunAfter; Elizabeth Rahajeng, the first Indonesian female host on E! News Asia; Olivia Lazuardy, top Indonesian fashion influencer by Influencer Asia; Marie Lozano, top lifestyle and entertainment journalist in the Philippines; and Nicole Andersson, style icon and regional host on HBO Asia in the Philippines.
