Paul Andrew received his award on a gala evening that was held in Madrid last November 21, 2019, before a large audience of international celebrities and candidates for the various award categories.

He was accompanied to the event by British actor Jeremy Irvine, who was a guest at the recent Ferragamo fashion shows in Florence and Milan.

The justification for his award reads: “Paul Andrew has been chosen as Designer of the Year after having successfully interpreted the world of Salvatore Ferragamo, managing to best represent its history, culture and values whilst developing a contemporary product that stands out from other brands thanks to a message of modernity that respects the Ferragamo language. The men’s collection beautifully blends Paul’s vision with craftsmanship and exclusive use of materials, a quality closely linked to the essence of the brand. The result is the perfect combination of history and product innovation.”
