Michael Kors Collection Toasts The Magic Of Italy With A Limited-Edition Capsule And Gala Party
Michael Kors is tapping into the iconic spirit of an Italian summer by bringing the jet-set luxury of Michael Kors Collection to the Amalfi Coast and Capri. The designer, who has long been enchanted by the magic of Capri, has created a limited-edition capsule collection which will only be sold on the island, at Cabana Capri, and in nearby Amalfi at the idyllic Hotel Santa Caterina.
The limited-edition capsule collection reflects the luminous beauty and eternal, effortless luxury of an Italian summer getaway. It features ocelot-print swimwear and sarongs, as well as python-embossed leather wristlets, all designed for the languid luxe of island life. The special capsule, along with a selection of handbags, ready-to-wear and accessories from the Spring/Summer 2022 Michael Kors Collection, will be available at a pop-up shop at the renowned Hotel Santa Caterina in Amalfi from July 28 to August 4 as well as at a pop-up shop inside Cabana Capri from July 25 to August 1.
Continuing the Italian celebration, and to toast the exciting news that Michael Kors Collection will be sold by Italian luxury retailer LuisaViaRoma beginning this July, the brand will be the sole sponsor of the annual LuisaViaRoma gala afterparty on July 30, taking place at Certosa di San Giacomo in Capri.
Leading up to the gala, the brand will host an exclusive VIP showroom at the Grand Hotel Quisisana Theater in Capri from July 27 to August 1. Invited guests will be able to try on Michael Kors Collection pieces from Spring/Summer 2022 and Fall/Winter 2022 for the gala. To kick off the weekend’s festivities, the brand is joining forces with Vanity Fair Italy for an invitation-only cocktail hour poolside at the Quisisana on July 29.
