THE LOGO TEE: TURBO-CHARGED IN ALL NEW SHADES

Blending in is boring: make a statement in MAX&Co.’s standout Logo tee. Debuting earlier in the season, this hero piece encapsulates the exciting new direction for MAX&Co.: strong, sharp and super modern, but always easy to wear.

Featuring a bold, color-block square – a rebooted take on the house logo, redesigned by famed London studio Made Thought – the unisex T-shirt is cut for an oversized, relaxed fit making it inclusive to different shapes and sizes. With three seasonal colors introduced for the season – zingy orange, futuristic pewter and classic black – the only hard part is choosing your favorite.

PEAK CHIC! WE ARE IN FOR THE LONG RUN (COAT)

A longer-line version of the sell-out Runaway coat, the Long Run is the epitome of effortless chic. Crafted from pure wool, the coat is lined, and fastens with a tie belt. Playing into the MAX&Co. ethos that clothes should be versatile, throw the Long Run over anything to give your look a dose of instant sophistication. Easy!

With a black version in the permanent collection, the Long Run is also available in three seasonal shades: brown, orange and a particularly stylish light blue that will easily transition from this season into spring. Whatever color you choose, expect this modern classic to be in your wardrobe for the Long Run.

THE ULTIMATE COAT CAPSULE

The AW19 Il Mio Cappotto line-up is composed of seven different styles, each taking their names and inspiration from exotic butterflies:

The Ermine: A true forever piece, everyone needs the Ermine in their closet. Bringing together masculine inspiration with feminine proportions, the Ermine is crafted from super-luxe double weave, pure cashmere. The pared-back, tailored silhouette and three asymmetrical flap pockets echo the sartorial detailing on traditionally tailored coats.

The Nymph: Comprising two reversible coats – each one made of one side in bouclé and the other in waterproof techno-duchesse – to be worn layered or separately with or without the belt, the Nymph is an excellent multi-tasker. The simple silhouette invites you to find your own perfect combination. Like many styles in one.

The Theodora: This fuzzy coat is playful and cozy. Crafted from a blend of wool, mohair and alpaca, the texture blurs the maxi-check pattern. The long-line piece is detailed with deep pockets and a high turn-up collar, finished with a subtle sporty spin courtesy of the elastic drawstring detail.

The Rosy: Say hello to your perfect pea coat. The checked Rosy has a versatile buttoning system, enabling you to switch it up however you want. Fasten the belt on the front, back or side, for an asymmetric design.

The Luna: Think of the Luna as the easy way to bring a little bit of drama to everyday. The fluid, elegant silhouette is flared at the bottom. An asymmetrical slit is inserted for added movement. Bold, saturated colors bring the Luna to life.

The Julia: You get endless styling possibilities with the Julia. Comprising a reversible coat – one side in bouclé and the other in waterproof techno duchesse – as well as a coordinating parka, the two layers can be worn together, or individually. A detachable hood can be added to either piece. Available in black and orange.

The Isabella: This sturdy overcoat is ready to take on anything. Sleek and pared-back, the Isabella’s graphic silhouette is inspired by the shape of a butterfly. Featuring a waist belt that transforms into a martingale, its yarn-dye chevron gives this design a uniquely rich 3D effect composed of camel and yellow tones.

DOT, DOT, DOT... IT’S YOUR NEW IT BAGS

One of this season’s standouts is the Dot bag, a graphic design that is at once classic and thoroughly contemporary. Every version of the circular style is finished with a bold chain-link strap in chunky plastic, which adds a further unexpected element. The Dot comes in three different styles: the Mini – the faux leather style (available in black, aqua and burgundy) is the ideal size for carrying a card, keys, phone and lipstick making this diminutive Dot perfect for nights out; the Medium Dot – your 24/7 day bag (comes in black, powder pink and aqua green); the Fluffy Medium Dot – an easy way to introduce a bit of texture play into your day-to-day look. The faux fur version is available in orange, grey and camel. Highly strokeable – and even more stylish.

Also making a play to join your accessory arsenal this season is the Roo, a drawstring pouch with leather knot-tied straps. This athleisure inspired style is a pitch perfect balance of style and comfort, and is available in white and a zingy orange shade.

Elsewhere, the signature Pillow bag is reimagined in a fluffy faux fur finish for AW19. As easy to carry, fold and unfold as always, don’t be surprised if you want to use it as an actual pillow. Available in camel, orange and grey.

IN FOCUS: HIT KNITS YOU NEED TO KNOW

Cozy meets cool: this season’s need-to-know knits aren’t just about keeping you warm, thanks to clever design details and punchy colors, they’re acquiring all new wardrobe hero status.

So what are the styles to know now? Seek out sweaters with contrasting piping or that juxtapose different finishes. Or go bold with a colorblock knit that mix and match different shades – rust with baby blue, acid green with camel, candy floss pink with tan – to graphic effect on round and V-neck sweaters. Meanwhile, embellished styles – emblazoned with the signature MAX IT UP slogan or with delicate ruffles – make the case for the after dark sweater. Simply pair with slinky trousers for a modern high/low effect. And don’t miss fine knits that are made for lightweight layering, the easy way to transition slip dresses and blouses from summer into autumn.

REPORTING FOR (DOUBLE) DUTY. YOUR NEW WARDROBE HEROES

Look no further. MAX&Co. understands that you place equal importance on elegance and ease, style and comfort, but always prioritize quality over quantity. Enter the multi-taskers, like the Reversible Parka, which is wool on one side, waterproof techno nylon on the other, and can be reversed and switched up according to your mood – and the weather.

Or another on-trend outerwear proposition, the 2-in-1 Parka, which can be transformed into a cropped jacket by unzipping the bottom part of the coat.

Meanwhile, putting a new spin on sweater dressing, the impeccable ribbed knit 2-in-1 Dress, can be worn alone or with the matching tie-front sweater (which can also be worn on its own).

Accessories are also working overtime. Note the Transformable court shoes, pared-back, elegant pumps, which can be changed into statement styles via the simple addition of faux fur bands and resin-embellished straps. Clever.
