Kate Spade New York Debuts It's Fall 2020 Collection
Marking Nicola Glass’s seventh collection for Kate Spade New York, Fall 2020 started with the idea of an enchanted forest and the journey through it, with unexpected details woven throughout. With each collection, Nicola continues to inject freshness and newness into the brand, always keeping the Kate Spade New York core DNA mind.
“This season our path begins in an enchanted forest, a place of discovery and seeing things in a new light. Playful proportions of classic shapes. Forever favorites tweeted, animal prints, florals, dots, lace reimagined for anyone to make their own. Extraordinary details reveal themselves the deeper you go and the closer you get. A khaki trench has psychedelic florals popped under the collar. A sparkly cocktail ring is molded into the shape of mushroom. A creamy neutral reveals a hint of butter amid verdant green, magenta, and shades of blue. Dazzling oversized brooches are subtly shaped into spades. There are micro mini bags fit for a secret, and major satchels that hold a day trip. Every piece has something special. There’s magic in putting together an outfit you love.”
Kate Spade New York will unveil the Fall 2020 collection on Monday, February 10 on it’s instagram channel, with short documentary-style video episodes and still shots that show the rigor and beauty behind the scenes of the creative process from styling to model casting to the lookbook shoot in the days leading up to New York Fashion Week.
