On May 31, 2019, MUJI will reopen its largest store in the Philippines to date, located at the Power Plant Mall in Rockwell Center. This is the store’s first renovation since it opened its doors in December 2010. For nearly a decade, the MUJI Power Plant Mall store has developed a strong relationship with its customers, whether from within the Rockwell community or other areas. MUJI once again welcomes its Philippine customers to its Power Plant Mall store with the latest MUJI environment and products.
The newly renovated store will have a fresher look while retaining the brand’s mission of providing products that create a simple and pleasant lifestyle for everyone. MUJI Power Plant Mall will reflect the most current store concept of MUJI with a design inspired by nature. Different elements such as wood, stone, sand, and metal were incorporated to its interiors featuring earthy colors in shades of red, gray, and brown. The overall theme of the store creates a relaxing feeling and a sense of contentment - much like the products offered inside the store. The 615 sqm store will offer everyday essentials such as health & beauty, stationery, travel, kitchenware, houseware, furniture, and electronics products, as well as Men’s and Women’s apparel, innerwear, bags, shoes, and accessories. To top things off, MUJI Power Plant Mall introduces its latest and most exclusive offering in the Philippine market - MUJI Children’s Wear.

For the reopening of its largest store, MUJI Philippines introduces the latest addition to its assortment - MUJI Children’s Wear. The line includes clothing and accessories for both kids and babies, which are specially made with child-friendly materials such as organic cotton MUJI’s organic cotton comes from fields that are free from pesticides and chemical fertilizers for over 3 years. By using organic cotton, MUJI is able to keep clothing safe to use for kids and babies, and safe to produce for farmers. It is also one of MUJI’s efforts to reduce its carbon footprint. MUJI took into account a child’s day-to-day activities and how parents are involved in dressing their children. With this, the brand has developed clothes that are comfortable and easy to move in for children, and easy to manage for parents.
