For Spring, Givenchy Unveils Its Iconic 4G Handbag In Embroidered Monogram Canvas

Givenchy is pleased to reveal an elevated, embroidered canvas featuring the House’s iconic emblem in relief, a new signature that now takes the iconic 4G handbag into bold new territory.


For Spring 2022, the 4G nods to Givenchy’s couture roots while channeling the cool, urban attitude that Creative Director Matthew M. Williams has established for the House. A striking, scaled-up version of the Givenchy emblem returns as an all-over motif on a jacquard coated canvas base, accentuated by sophisticated chains interlaced with leather and a wide leather shoulder strap. With a nod to the designer’s innovative hardware developments, this new iteration of Givenchy’s essential handbag makes it even more covetable and intriguing.


The 4G in embroidered monogram canvas comes in two colorways and two formats.


Setting an elegant tone, the classic black 4G embroidered bag features a gold-finish chain and clasp, finding an edgy counterpoint in the high-energy 4G, in vibrant red. The versatile 4G crossbody format features a wide, removable strap, which is paired with a shorter chain.


This distinctive canvas also appears on the crossbody versions of the Cut Out as well as on selected Antigona styles (top handle and over-the-shoulder).
